So far the nicest surprise in all of Slovenia. A beautiful place that is not full of tourists. Great home cooking and very pleasant and kind service. The place is off the main road. I recommend everyone to find a way to the Aquarium.

A family run restaurant, located on the hills over Ankaran. A quiet, warm and lovely place. All the dishes were superb. The service was warm and professional. Fair prices.

Amazing little place... We went there because of all the great reviews and were not disappointed. All dishes are freshly prepared and the fish is of excellent quality. Friendly service and would go there again, even if I had to drive for an hour or more! Calamari fritti are to die for

When you turn off the main road, it turns to gravel, but not to worry, its not a mistake :) The place opened only one year ago, it has a simple small interior, and large garden. I got a feeling its run by a small team. The food was good, they rushed the service as I've expressed I'm passing by. Top! I had pasta with seafood and a spritzer. Tasty.

Great place with friendly staff working in a very hot place :) . Please note – no air conditioning and cash only. Food is fresh, tasty, and nicely prepared. The fish soup was excellent.

If you’re looking for an excellent seafood restaurant, this is without a doubt the place to go. Aquarium is a charming, family-run restaurant, which offer a wide variety of dishes, from calamari, seafood pasta or risotto to seabream, seabass, octopus and even lobster. And trust me, you do not want to miss out on their homemade tiramisu, it is heavenly. The food itself is exquisite, mouth-watering and nicely plated, the owners make sure everything is perfect and the effort can be appreciated in every detail, the atmosphere is intimate and warm, the decor is carefully chosen as well. Aquarium with live fish is an entertaining addition to the room while you eat. All in all, would absolutely recommend 10/10, will definitely return in the near future!

A family run restaurant. It’s not a touristic place. Very quiet and romantic in nature. Excellent quality of food. If you would like to eat a wild fish you have to make a reservation and order it few days before. For appetizer take octopus salat and cod spread. Salats are practically from the local gardens. Excellent service.
